Jaime Partners served as the general contractor for the extensive remodel of the Music Box. Using its predecessor Anthology’s footprint, Music Box was reconfigured to have a capacity of 705, substantially more than Anthology’s capacity of 272.

The physical size of the Music Box remained the same, but the ground level was overhauled to create a large standing-room-only area, and the previously sloped floor was flattened. The horseshoe-shaped bar was replaced by a horizontal bar, parallel to the venue’s north wall, which opened up more space.

The second floor was upgraded to include five VIP boxes, which can each accommodate six to eight people. And the top level was designed as an audience meet-and-greet for performers.
